I've been trying for two days to get my UMC404HD Audio Interface to connect to my computer, and it won't freaking work. Hi I’ve read and tried all the solutions I could find for 4-track recording on Audacity, using my Behringer UMC404HD, and nothing is solving the problem. ![]() ![]() My computer is running Windows 10, I have the device plugged directly into my PC, and I'm using the latest version of the Behringer Audio Driver from the UMC404HD product page. Whenever I re-install the driver, I get confirmation of successful install, then a pop-up appears when I try to click "Finish" saying that I need to disconnect and reconnect the Audio Interface to finish the install. I've tried doing this (multiple times) and the device is never detected. I've checked everywhere for a semblance of connection to the device. It doesn't show up in the Windows 10 Sound Preferences. ![]() I've already tried the following, to no avail: And it certainly doesn't show up in my DAW (Ableton Live 11). Using a new USB-C to USB cable to connect the device to my PC Unplugging the USB cable, rebooting the computer, then re-plugging in the USB cable Unplugging and replugging both ends of the USB cable (device end and computer end) Rebooting my computer with the device plugged in Unplugging and re-plugging the Audio Interface power supply Uninstalling the drivers, rebooting computer, re-installing drivers Using an older version of the Behringer Audio DriverĬhecking for Hidden Devices in the Device Manager (Audio Interface did not show up). ![]()
